ABC Letterings is a kids’ learning app that turns the alphabet into play, with letter tracing, listen-and-tap games, free drawing and printable practice sheets.
Built for early learners and their parents, it supports English, Gujarati and Hindi and keeps every screen simple enough for little hands.
{01} THE PROBLEM
Kids’ learning apps are often busy and text-heavy.
We designed around what young learners and parents actually need.
- Young children can't read menus, so every action has to be obvious from pictures and sound
- Letter practice usually stops at the screen, with nothing for kids to trace on paper
- Families learn in more than one script: English, Gujarati and Hindi
- Parents need settings kept out of reach of curious little fingers
{02} THE SOLUTION
A playful, guided way to learn letters, on screen and on paper.
Picture-led navigation, short activities and printable sheets.
Every activity starts from a big, friendly picture button, so kids can move around without reading. Tracing follows guide paths stroke by stroke, listen-and-tap builds sound recognition, and the printable sheets give one page per letter with numbered strokes and rows to trace. Designed and built by one team, from UX to the finished Android app.
